Ivánk is a graduated Architect, web designer and artist. He lives in the city of Rosario, Argentina. Since he was in high school, he has been evolved in different activist experiences.

During the 2001 crisis he participated in Indymedia Rosario collective, where he was an active member until 2004. From 2003 to actuality, he has taken part in the Nodo Tau a local NGO that work with social spects about ICT. There he has developed multiple websites and coordinated workshops on popular communication for several civil society organizations.

Between 2003 and 2007 he took part in the Communication Guerrilla Workshop (also called Cat Eaters - http://www.cateaters.org.ar), a collective formed by artists and social communicators. The most important productions of this group are:
2003 > Piquete Way (Picket Way) (http://www.piqueteway.tk/) that was the first action of the collective, and consisted in a distortion on a popular teens TV show called Rebelde Way (Rebel Way). It consisted in a stencil safari, picketeer fashion design and a website.
2004 / 2006 > Pinche Empalme Justo (http://www.pinche.com.ar/) was a fake “self-installing” cable TV operator, formed by people connected to cable TV illegaly. Because of this action, Multicanal (the most important cable TV operator in Argentina) demanded the collective for “instigation to commit crimes”. The group developed lot of graphical and written material that is published on the website, and made a promotional stand that was presented in several art meetings in Rosario and Buenos Aires.
2006 > Ungovernables Photo Session (http://www.ingobernables.com.ar/) was an action made as response to an official act promoted by the local government, when it received the Governance prize by UNESCO.
2007 > Entel Vuelve (Entel is back) (http://www.entelvuelve.com.ar/) was a fiction of a communitarian enterprise that tried to give back to people the service of communications, privatized by neo liberalist government during the 90s.

Federico Lazcano is an electronic engineer, graduated in the National University of Rosario, Argentina. He works at the moment in the IT Area of the Municipality of Rosario, implementing infrastructure solutions using Free Software. He uses GNU/Linux actively since the year 2000.
From the 2003 he is part of collective Planeta X, and is charter member of hacklab LowLab (http://hacklab.planetax.org.ar), which works from the 2006. Within hacklab they have been carried out diverse activities (http://hacklab.planetax.org.ar/doku.php?id=proyectos), emphasizing the first Copyleft Day of Rosario, the presentation of the Burning Box and Software Freedoom Day 2007. During 2007 he organized a workshop of Arduino, dictated by David Cuartielles.

He has been member of Indymedia Rosario and actually is volunteer at Nodo Tau (www.tau.org.ar), where he's working in a distribution of GNU/Linux oriented to people with visual impairment, and in an application for file storage for social organizations.

His interests go through free software, hacktivism and infrastructure information systems.

Ivánk es arquitecto (graduado de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina), diseñador web y artista. Desde la escuela secundaria se ha involucrado en diversas experiencias activistas, siempre intentando abordar prácticas que se distancien de la militancia tradicional de la izquierda.

Durante la crisis de 2001 forma parte del colectivo fundador de Indymedia Rosario, donde milita activamente hasta le año 2004. Entre el año 2003 y hasta la actualidad participa en la ONG Nodo Tau, donde ha diseñado sitios web y dado talleres de comunicación popular para diversas organizaciones de la sociedad civil.

Entre el año 2003 y el 2007 participa del Taller de Guerrilla de la Comunicación (que luego toma el nombre de Cat Eaters), grupo conformado por artistas y comunicadores sociales. Entre las producciones del este colectivo se encuentran:
Piquete Way (http://www.piqueteway.tk/) que fue una primera acción grupal, que consistió en una tergiversación sobre una serie de TV para adolescentes (llamada Rebelde Way). La intervención consistió en un stencil safari, diseño de ropa piquetera y un website.
Pinche Empalme Justo (http://www.pinche.com.ar/), una empresa ficticia de televisión por cable "autoinstalable", conformada por los usuarios “enganchados” del servicio, que costó al grupo una demanda de la empresa de cable Multicanal por "instigación a cometer delitos". El colectivo produjo muchísimo material, tanto gráfico como escrito, que puede verse en el sito web. También se realizó un stand promocional que fue presentado en convocatorias artísticas tanto en Rosario como en Buenos Aires.
Ingobernables Photo Session (http://www.ingobernables.com.ar/), intervención en un evento local organizado por el Municipio al ser galardonado por la UNESCO con el premio a la gobernabilidad.
Entel Vuelve (http://www.entelvuelve.com.ar/) una ficción de empresa comunitaria que intentaba devolver al pueblo el servicio de comunicaciones, privatizado por el gobierno neoliberal de la década del 90.

Federico Lazcano es Ingeniero Electrónico, graduado en la Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Trabaja actualmente en el Área Tecnología de la Dirección General de Informática de la Municipalidad de Rosario, implementando soluciones de infraestructura utilizando Software Libre. Utiliza activamente GNU/Linux desde el año 2000.

Desde el 2003 es parte del colectivo Planeta X de Rosario, y es miembro fundador del hacklab LowLab (http://hacklab.planetax.org.ar), el cual funciona desde el 2006. Dentro de hacklab se han llevado a cabo diversas activades (http://hacklab.planetax.org.ar/doku.php?id=proyectos), destacando la primera Jornada Copyleft de Rosario, la presentación de la Caja Quemadora y el Software Freedoom Day 2007. En el 2007 organizó un taller de Arduino, dictado por el español David Cuartielles. Actualmente se está trabajando en una distribución de GNU/Linux orientada a personas con discapacidades visuales y en un aplicaicón para almacenamiento de archivos para organizaciones sociales.

Ha sido docente del Instituto Politécnico Superior de Rosario, y ha colaborado con la cátedra Redes de Datos de Ingeniería Electrónica de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario.

Sus intereses pasan por el software libre, tanto desde el punto de vista técnico como filosófico, el hacktivismo y las infraestructuras de sistemas de la información.
