Submission Guide
To enable a fast and uncomplicated project submission we have developed the following steps for online submission:
1. Registration
For online registration it is necessary to register in the Login window (on the left!) under "Registration!"
(You can submit anonymous (under pseudonym), if you enter a pseudonym, we will not publish your first and last name.)
2. Login
After registration with your Login data (Username and Password) via the Login window you reach your personal project page where you can collect and administer project data, and finally send it to us.
3. To enter project data
Project data must be entered in 6 steps.
Instructions:
The project data will be put into the data bank in several steps. The saved texts or document-uploads are subject to change at any time. As soon as all necessary data is given for an application, the menu command "6. Send" is activated. A short overview about the menu commands follows:
1. Notes
This is about this text ;)
2. Contributor Data
This data must be filled in: First Name, Last Name, Short Bio, Email-Address. Intending a successful collaboration, we recommend a completed web form.
3. Project Title and Description
4. File Uploads
Formal aspects (such as meaningful pictures or other files) do play a important role when submitting projects.
5. Categorisation
It is necessary to define your field of work and your plans for the presentation (of your project) at the fair. At least one choice is required, more choices are possible
6. Submit
As soon as all necessary data is given for an application, this menu command is activated. And you submit!
4. Sending your project to us
As soon as your project is sent off it enters the data bank of the Subversive Fair. As soon as it is clear that the submission meets the theme goals (see Open Call), that it is not a (mere:-) "spoof proposal" and if the submitter agrees the publication on our website, the project will be cleared, and so made visible under Submissions.
In September 2008 the Research Board will select the works from the submissions that will be invited to the Subversive Fair.
Note:
The project submissions do not have to be filled in and sent off in one go. You can save your intermediate results and continue working on them at a later point in time. All data provided remains available even after an interruption, or when you log in again later.
In theory there is no restriction to the number of projects that can be outlined and submitted, but in practice it doesn't make sense to submit more than three projects.
